Don’t miss a great night of country music with two-time Juno award winner Eddie Eastman and the Terra Nova Express Band!

Eddie Eastman will be returning home to Newfoundland this July to perform 3 theatre shows across the Island including the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre July 12th,Gander Arts and Culture Centre July 13th and Holy Heart Theatre, St. John’s, July 14th. Eddie will also share the stage with his daughter Sherida and his cousin Bobby Evans who is certainly no stranger to the music industry.

In 1978 Eddie won NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the Big Country Awards in Regina. He went on to win two Juno Awards in 1980 and 1982 for TOP MALE VOCALIST and still holds the record today as the only Newfoundlander to win two Juno awards. In 1983 he landed his own show with CBC entitled “The Eddie Eastman Show”. In all, Eddie has recorded 8 albums and had 25 top ten singles, during his career, including hits like Eastbound 401, Easy, Between The Bar Room and The Bedroom, Liftin Me Up Lettin Me Down. Dreaming All Over and Lonely Eyes to name a few.

Eddie moved to Nashville, Tennessee with his family in 1988 and continues to write and perform in Canada and the U.S. In 2010 Eddie received the ultimate achievement and was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.
